Pool layout and the completed 2026 season
The pool has two separate pool areas and play features. The larger pool serves lane and open swims, while the small pool has tot and open swims. The facility’s stated 2026 operating season was July 1 to August 31 and has ended. It is not a year-round indoor pool.
The 2026 page has different timetables for early summer, weekends, late August and the final day. A July 11 swim-meet closure was also listed. Do not reuse one week’s times as a permanent schedule or assume that 2027 dates have been announced.

Drop-in swim fees and seasonal memberships
Open and lane swims cost $2 per person including tax. Pay at the pool with cash, credit or debit. No advance booking is needed. Outdoor pools no longer offer private pool rentals; groups can attend public swims, but the city recommends arriving early because sessions fill.
Seasonal memberships are sold at LeBrun Recreation Centre, 36 Holland Avenue, Bedford, and the Cole Harbour Recreation location inside Cole Harbour Place, 51 Forest Hills Parkway, Dartmouth. The Bedford page’s April 1, 2026 membership fees are shown below before tax. Its age bands are specific to this pool.

Children, guardians and admission ratios
Children seven and younger need a parent or guardian aged 15 or older, prepared to be in the water and within arm’s reach. The stated ratio is one guardian for no more than three children under eight. Children aged eight to 11 need a guardian aged 15 or older present at the facility for emergencies.
The page says youth 12 to 17 can attend alone but cannot act as guardian for children 11 and under. This creates uncertainty for 15-to-17-year-old guardians, despite the earlier 15+ rule. Until the facility clarifies that wording, plan for an adult guardian and confirm directly.
