Launch Your Career in Account Management
Aon is looking for soon-to-be graduates and recent graduates to join our Early Careers Launch Development Program in Account Management. You do not need to be an insurance expert on day one. Through our Launch Program and on-the-job learning, you will learn how Account Managers help clients manage risk, coordinate service needs and make better decisions that support resilience and growth.
As a Commercial Risk Associate, you will build the skills, confidence and client-service knowledge needed to support account activity, coordinate renewals, manage documentation and serve as a credible point of contact for clients and internal partners.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit.
Aon is in the business of better decisions
At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.
As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.
What is Account Management
Account Management helps clients stay informed, supported and prepared throughout the insurance and risk management process. Account Managers work with clients, Brokers, Account Executives and internal service teams to coordinate account activity, support renewals, manage client requests and help deliver high-quality client service.
By combining relationship-building, organization, risk awareness and technology-enabled workflows, Account Managers help keep client service moving and support the long-term retention and growth of client relationships.
What You Will Do
As a Commercial Risk Associate, you will build hands-on account management experience while developing an understanding of how risk, clients, markets and service teams come together to create value for clients. Technology, including AI-enabled tools and global delivery teams, increasingly supports routine processing, allowing Account Managers to focus earlier on judgment, client guidance, workflow orchestration and account retention and growth.
Analyze Risk and Support Client Insight
- Assess client exposures using data, analytics and risk information while learning to validate and contextualize technology-supported outputs.
- Partner with Broking teams to support program recommendations, coverage solutions and client-ready insights.
- Develop proficiency in insurance concepts, risk mitigation and the Aon Value Proposition.
Support Account Management and Renewals
- Support assigned accounts by coordinating renewals, client requests, contract reviews, policy documentation and account workflows.
- Track client open items, follow up on day-to-day inquiries and help maintain timely, accurate information flow between clients and internal teams.
- Build workflow-management discipline across multiple accounts, deadlines and deliverables.
Build Client Communication and Advisory Skills
- Participate in client meetings, presentations and follow-up activities with growing confidence.
- Use technology, data analytics and risk insights to translate complex information into clear guidance, reports and recommendations tailored to client needs.
- Build trust as a consistent, credible point of contact while developing client and internal relationships.
