Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, portioning, and timely delivery of meals and snacks to classrooms, while organizing meal service supplies and collecting and sanitizing dishes and equipment. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen, support food and supply inventory, follow safety requirements, and collaborate with the Cook and Centre Director.
Requirements
Requires at least two years of Kitchen Assistant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a current Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and clean driving abstract, strong communication skills, a clean criminal record check, and the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds; daycare experience is an asset.
